Death Bestowed Upon Thee?

transomwhiplassoh....my.....gawd.....I am NEVER EVER babysitting again.... I forgot how ackward it is from me... for some reason.. I just can't take people's money and I can't stand playing with the kids our upon hour.
The people I babysat for tonight were the picky kind with a 5 page emergency contact pad.. then... they did the bravest thing I have ever seen people do.. leave 2 girls ages 2 and 8 under my supervision..
things started with dinner.. the healthy miniture but perfectly balanced meal with things from all food groups.. as soon as the 2 year old figured out "momi" was gone she flipped and cried for 10 minutes.. and I had to stand there and lie "ooh dont worry.. momi is almost here she is just in the other room"..
after her favorite barney video of singing freak children to lame-ass car songs.... she was happy as could be.. of course hell does not end with one barney video... nor with the repeated watching of sailor moon: the black dream hole... but eventually..... I had to SIT ON THE FLOOR AND PRETEND TO BE IN 2ND GRADE WHILE THE 8 YEAR OLD READ ME BOOKS AND SPANISH AND TOLD ME I HAD TO MAKE A "PREDICTION" ON EVERY PAGE AND EITHER A "TEXT-TO-LIFE" OR "TEXT-TO-TEXT" CONNECTION (I guess something she just learned in school.. either relating to the book with a personal experience or with another book... either way i was tired ;_;) AND THAT IF I DIDNT SHE WOULD START THE BOOK ALL OVER AGAIN... I DONT KNOW SPANISH EITHER ;_;...
finally i convinced her i deserved "recess" and we all sat around and watching cartoon cartoon fridays on cartoon network.. when I became unconked from what seemed like heaven in the form of sleep... outlaw star was on, the 8 year old was gone, the 2 year old was sleeping, and the phone was ringing. I scrambled to find the phone and looked all over untill I found 8 year old sleeping with it craddled in her arms.. gah... I knew the parents would freak out because I didnt answer.... ;_;
they came home.. I got $25... but I wish I would have just stayed home... there are nicer ways of linching money and making a living then signing up as a student, play pal, diaper changing, bad movie watching, constantly interoggated baby sitter.... i beg no more..... please NO MORE...Oh yeah.. and I think I am getting sick too..
