Web Meandering
Jul. 23rd, 2007 01:11 amI've become recently obsessed with this website: http://www.damninteresting.com.
It's full of that type of random information that I draw from on regular basis. Just thought I would share for good measure.
---
All of my web searching this evening got me researching cognitive biases. I kind of think that if I could lead two lives in parallel, I would also be an economics major. I say parallel rather because economics and architecture are two areas I wish I could simultaneously pursue and explore for a lifetime but in separate ways (combining them doesn't seem like a likely mixture, though I think both have applicability to the other though only in a limited sense). I think both are bizarre combinations of my interest in human behavior and manipulation (perhaps instilled by a childhood interest in playing god via Sim games?). Regardless, I realize how much I love economics sometimes and it makes me wonder what I would explore choosing that path.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention.
