transomwhiplassI overslept my third alarm this morning.. apparently I'm developing an immunity to it's squealing. I got to class on time and all but I felt like crap. Oh well. I really don't like the new teacher, I think she has decided the same about me. She gives me death stares, rattles off shit a million words per second, and then glares when I mutter a "si" "no" or "non lo so" (I don't know that) since I can't quite understand her. All will be fine and I only have her for 2.5 weeks. These exchanges can't do much to me but slightly lower my participation grade the "I spoke only in Italian part" but otherwise.. it's mostly just irritating.
I hung out with my grandmother for a few hours. We had a really good conversation about lots of things though I pretty much almost put her to sleep while I was babbling about APO stuff.
I've been walking around the neighborhood which has been nice. The houses south of 18th on the hill are really cool. My hips are kind of sore from the last couple days (lots of hill climbing and descending) but it's better than being stuck in the house all day.
I saw some fireworks from my window and that was nice. I love fireworks, they are seriously one of my top three favorite things in the world. I wanted to actually go watch them this year, but I put off i miei compiti di italiano per due giorni.
Oh well. I got to wear one of my cute new dresses and eat steak so it was quite a success.
Anyway, I should probably be paying attention to the radio show right now. (Maybe) more later.
