So, lol, look at the time. I obviously should be sleeping. I just finished my last theater project - costume design for 4 characters of Oedipus. I think I was probably a little to involved in my design "sketches." More like full, shaded-ish renderings than sketches. Oh well, I go a little bonkers when it comes to design stuff. I admit it's the only time I'm ever a super-duper overachiever. These things took awhile but they look pretty bitchin' so come class (at 10) I'll be tired, but satisfied.

Today was rather eventful, my classes were typical but after school lots of craziness went down. We got a Christmas tree (!!!) I baked cookies as thank you's to Mason who procured us this tree at an extreme discount. Lindsey and I hit up Target and I got to throw around some money to make myself feel better. It's been so effing cold lately - my shoes/socks were wet all day causing frequent distraction and shivering mid-class (part of the problem was I was wearing my faux-tops which are not only just bits of canvas, but trashed bits of canvas thanks to theater lab - which I finished today!! runonsentencesyay!) Anyway, I cracked. I could have had real Ugg's 3 years ago but I passed then - they just weren't practical in Houston and everyone and their mother were wearing them at SAA. Yes, I bought myself $20 fake Uggs today and I haven't taken them off since I got home. They are so incredibly comfortable and warm. My mom was going to buy me a pair when I got home but then I would have to fly back with them and I'd miss 2 weeks of potential use.

Condition of this purchase is that I will not slut them up with a mini-skirt. Ever. If I do, I give all aquaintances permission to bitch-slap/kill me. They are strictly a response to freezingness and not a fashion statement (if they were, how passe would I be..dude).

I had a cinderellafantastimagical experience yesterday. So for Heidi's wine & cheese soiree, cocktail attire is a requirement. Lacking a dress, I've kind of been "uhhhh.." not knowing where to look and not really willing to spend that much money. Last week, I checked Target's "little black dress" section to no avail - every dress they had was sold out in every size. For some reason, I checked last night and they had the one dress I thought was cute in the size that I would have ordered it in (obviously a return) but it seemed like some kind of sign from above - I could hardly scramble for my Visa fast enough. At $45, it was a modest bargain too. Now I just hope it fits the way it should..




Excitement! I have so much crazy randomness going on this week(end).

Ack, I really have to start studying. I hope the profs. hand out study guides asap - direction is good. I just have to make it though Monday and I'll be in the clear (despite have a "final" ::snort:: in Mythology. bitch, please..)


My goal (for the 27th time) is to get my haircut this weekend before Heidi's party. It would make me happy and feel extra smashing in my hot new dress. We'll see, I've been such a fucking bum about it.

Sorry, I went on a music binge recently and felt like sharing. blah blah utter randomness that Sarah's blahs when she is tired and avoiding sleep. more crack-addledness later when something amuses me enough..
