Dramatic Lack of Web Activity
Oct. 21st, 2005 09:25 amI will not be on AIM. I will not be on LJ. I probably won't get to check my email. This does not indicate I've met my immediate, unfortunate, and premature demise.
I'M GOING TO ALASKA!
The APO guy who IMed me from the (new!) chapter there promised me a moose and aurora borealis. If he doesn't deliver I'm going to break his legs. lol.
I feel really bad, I don't want to skip my Political Science class (I slept through it on Wednesday). Technically, I could go and leave early. I'm just hoping I don't have to skip it when I get home (Monday at 7:53 AM) because we are doing midterm review. Blah. I've been trying to do really well in that class, I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass in the end. This always happens, I chortle at the beginning of a term "mwahaha... give me a challenge!!! This term was TOO EASY. I slacked constantly and aced all of those classes." This year I'm like, actually putting discipline into my life and suddenly everything's extra hard.
Except for TA Design, that's just recess.
My enthusiasm for the design and manual labor just indicates that my major to rock soooo harrdddd. I'm tired of the "oh,.. arch..itecture? gawsh, you're going to be sooo busy!" comments from hoi polloi. I actually let statements like that get to me for the last two years. Yes, I'm a freak for being psyched to live in studio - that's why it's my major.
I burned my finger in the most delicious, unholy way ever - on melted marshmallow. I have a nasty blister from that and double blisters from a glue gun incident Wednesday night (my TA diorama). Though, my knees aren't purple anymore which is good because I can now wear a skirt again (though it's pretty much getting too cold for that).
This has been a totally random unconnected post. I've got to stop this stream-of-consciousness rambling.
"Mine's Not a High Horse" by the Shins has been stuck in my head for 72 hours. 50 listens later, it's pretty much out, but now #20 on my most played list. oops.
Ok, enough silliness. I need to make sure I have all my stuff packed. Finding out that I had a lack of underwear in Alaska would be unfortunate, creepy, and very cold.
