Getting closure

I'll miss some classes, especially Wojcik my pop culture prof. and his oh so hilarious social commentary.
"Wait a second.. BARBIE AND HER LESBIAN GIRLFRIEND! .. LET's.. GET.. SUBVERSIVE!!!"
- During discussion of Barbie as a cultural icon, someone brought up that Barbie "broke-up" with Ken (she now has a new beau, "Blaine" if I remember correctly from a Yahoo! News article)
"'Even the 'Crack Kills/Black Power' design considered from a wearer's perspective embodies a raw humor, assimilating 'black power' to a carnivalesque, scatological tradition of 'funky butt' humor.' Wow folks - it doesn't get muchbetter than carnivilesque, scatological 'funky butt' humor.'"
- During discussion of the incorporation by the black community of a black Bart Simpson. The shirt mentioned features Bart wedged between a woman's butt cheeks. Yes, that "scatological" means what you think it does.

I will not however miss Physics by any means, though I will miss doing homework with Brandy every week. Gender Studies is sad, I'm going to really miss my discussion group. I'll have to call Kate my facilitator next term to hang out sometime. She was the best.
I'm determined to work harder in Italian next term. I didn't really mess up this term but I don't feel nearly as confident in it as I did last term. That class isn't really going away, but Ashlee is (Ashlee, you have to let me bug you on a weekly basis via some other forum).
I'm avoiding packing. Well, no. Actually there isn't much to pack. I may or may not do laundry before I leave. I need to clean up but poor Elizabeth is sleeping so I'll just leave her to it and stay quiet for another few hours.
