transomwhiplassWhoa, ya'll. Elizabeth is gone for the weekend and I have the run of the room. OHMIGAWDz - all 40 square feet, WHOA! Ahaha, all sorts of opprotunities are suddenly open. lol, see above.
Yay for pledge ceremony. Honest to god, I feel like a dumbass. I've gone to every meeting and pretty much every APO event and I have NO idea who any of these pledges are for the exception of one girl. I'm puzzled, I don't know how they floated under my radar. Haha, wait - yes I do! I'm a preoccupied doofus who spends all her time gravitating towards people I'm comfortable around. Still, it seems weird that this was the first time I saw a most of these girls >_>;;.
I got to wear my pants! My hair looked dumb so I made it look dumber. Heather made fun of me because, as she said, "I wasn't wearing sweat pants for once." LOL. I'm confused, I didn't realize I wear them so much. Haha, she pays more attention to my wardrobe then I do. However, I do acknowledge I wore those damn pants a lot last term. Towards the end of the trimester, dead week & finals, I pretty much lived in those pants like.. day and night. Oooh being a college student. Anyway, she probably has a point there. *Mental Note: Put away sweatpants, if didn't already*
Amelia is going to start a Harry Potter club at UO. Ohmygod, yay! It's going to be super fun, I'm so psyched.
We had ice cream at Prince Pucklers' after the ceremony. I just realized my tongue is still burnt from the overzealous sip of tea I took hours ago. Geez, that feels like it happened ages ago.
I love days that feel like they were a week long. It makes me feel productive and satisfied. All the memories are hazy but fantastic, for today especially. I just want every day like this rooted in my memory to look back on fondly some day.
I just love everything right now. I love the line of trees carving into the sky in the horizon. I love the people around me. Life is just seamless, nothing sucks - I've found zen again. Oh inner-peace, how I missed ye.
