I had an extremely successful day. My roommate and I slept till noon. It twas' absolutely lovely.

After lunch, we embarked on an ambitious journey. Our plan was to take the bus to the station and from there, walk to this one used record shop we hadn't visited yet. From there, we were going to grab a bus to Goodwill and then walk from there to this place called "Trader Joe's" - it's a combonation bargain/speciality item store.

We got to the bus stop on the edge of campus and to our dismay, the next bus wasn't going to be around for another half hour. We decided to walk to the bus station instead - it actually would take less time than waiting for the bus. We went to that record shop and I got "The Best of Blondie" for $8. It's a really groovy place called the "Museum of Unfine Art" and they sell records and weird crap like, for instance, a framed picture of Fried Chicken.

From there, the plan was to go on to Goodwill and we decided, again, it would be quicker to walk to one of the bus stops on the right bus' route. Accidentally, we found the Buffalo Exchange. Elizabeth mentioned it and it wasn't on today's list, but we ended up hitting it bank robber style. I made out like a mad, masked bandit.

I got a Led Zepplin shirt for $8, I got a Hives shirt (BRAND NEW QUALITY) for $12. They are both kind of big. I'm going to try to washer-shrink them, I might have to cut the Hives shirt because it is so long. I also got this cool pink lace skirt and another Gap Denim jacket, $15 and $20 respectively. It was crazy. Oh, and I almost bought some fake Ugg, red Sherpa boots. They had white pom-poms. They were ridiculous and I would have never worn them, but I wanted them so bad. Elizabeth finally conviced me that if I still wanted them later, they'd probably still be there next time because they were so ridiculous. It worked, I'm a sucker for owning things that make me laugh, even if I gain no use for them whatsoever. I'm almost as excited about my new clothes as this other thing.

There was this guy there. I recognized him, and remembered him (give you one guess why) - he looks so much like Alex Kapranos from "Franz Ferdinand" and this movie star.. who I can't seem to put my finger on. Anyway, I first saw him in Carson during IntroDucktion, then, I saw him when I was registering for classes later that day. This week, I saw him walking to classes & then today - first at BE, then later, twice at Hamilton.

Now I have two unintentional stalks. Girly-Jeans-guy and Hipster-Rock-Celebrity-Guy, wait, that name sucks. Ok, *revelation* - I'm just going to call him "Franz-y Pants" which is what I call "Franz Ferdinand" when I'm feeling silly (read: always) and that will go great with "Girly Pants."

Franz-y Pants & Girly Pants. I'm not stalking them, but I keep seeing them and I don't mind it, like I said, "unintentional stalks". I dig them and all, but I don't know how it work out with a guy who dresses better and probably spends more time with his hair than me. I'm a freaking hobo. Seriously, St. Agnes didn't prepare me for dressing myself. Uniforms have actually retarded the learning process. Oh well, hopefully I get the hang of this soon.

Today was also weird because I kept seeing guys from my classes. I probably ran into like a million guys from my classes, but these were ALL of the "memorable" ones. I have a very shallow, and selective short-term memory. I can't think of any other guys I've noticed on campus that I didn't see today. There was hot-buzzcut guy who pulls it off because his head is perfectly shaped, not like the deformed weirdos that usually have buzzcuts. I saw this guy from my Italian class and this guy from my colloquium class.

Yes, it was a very succesful day for me. I saw my grandma so I got my iPod skin (yay, now I can take it places without worrying about scratching it) and my sky blue rainboots so I can jump in puddles (the Oregon rain started yesterday). Oh, and I had to spend 50/80 meal points. Yeah, feel free to ohmygod at anytime. I didn't buy any outside food either. I only ate 30 meal points worth of food in the entire week, last week, that's all I had left. I got really busy this week and I ate lots of granola. So yeah, now I get to have microwave S'mores, hot cocoa, fluffernutters, and lots of yummy grapes! Haha, next week I'm going to have like.. 60 points left. OH! They had POCKY today, so I got a box along with some more Koala cookies.

Tomorrow, Elizabeth & I are going to try to go to Trader Joe's & Goodwill. I spent a little more than $60 today but I now feel like I've recieved $250 of benefit, my econ. teacher (& Mr. Albright) would be proud.
