Wow. Oscars. Yes, catty bitch time.
Fashion: Everyone was either in black (wtf?), wearing a weird butt ruffle (Renee & Oprah), or a glittery, gold sleek number. [Edited for outright bitchiness] I hated Marcia Gay Harden's dress & hair. It was heinous but she is pregnant so I won't go into anything more except for the statement I said upon first glimpsing it. I think in something black she would have blended better but the blue-circus tent, she stuck out like a sore thumb. She is so pretty and I thinks she came pregnant before and looked lovely. I don't know what happened this year. The hair wasn't good either. Liv Tyler's was pretty bad and she had these retro-emo glasses when she presented that she kept taking on and off. That Maria host-lady from ET was really annoying. She was unworthy of the diamond dress she was wearing. Her boobs were too big for it and they looked bad in the dress. She had "side-cleavage" which is always unclassy. It didn't help that she had a personality as deep as her other co-host "Billy Bush." What the hell kind of name is that?? Is he related to dub-yah? It seemed like it. He had no brain; he was leaning over Alec Baldwin in order to interupt Sandra Bullock's converation. Then he probably mortally embarressed the Whale Rider girl when he forcibly made her aquaintance to Johnny Depp pretending to be a long time friend himself. Johnny Depp was great though, he was lovely in spite of that move. Honestly, I almost missed Joan Rivers & her bitchy daughter Melissa thanks to Billy and Maria. God help me.
I can't wait to get my Oscar edition People, Entertainment Weekly, & (possibly) Us Weekly. I still have my issues from last year.. I don't understand the obsession, myself.
LOTR swept which was impressive but probably as planned as the Halle & Denzel concurrent win.
Niki predicted EXACTLY right. However, I'm greatly disappointed at her mess-up at the AcaChal Tourney.. Niki: missing an art history question? Tut tut..
lol, I'm just kidding, I know it is because you didn't hear the whole question.
Tonight's New Factoid: I had absolutely NO idea that Jaime Lee Curtis was married to Christopher Guest.

I woke up AGAIN before lunchtime on a weekend. I'm scaring myself.
---
I'm glad LOTR swept, but I really liked the "Triplets of Belleville"'s song. Go see the movie, its totally bizarre. Uhm, I also wanted the "Whale Rider" girl to win, and Johnny Depp. Falala.

I haven't done my tenebrism portrait yet. I HATE THIS PROJECT. STUPID ASJKL@)$#U)@#. It has to be the size of a poster board. If doing your portait isn't hard enough.. it has to be gigantic and we have to use the stupiddumbuseless x-expansion method. This shouldn't be hard, it just reiterates my failure in proportion and/or the overwhelming senioritis that has set in.
I know I keep saying this but I'm absolutely crippled. I'm afflicted! It's awful. I can't bring myself to do anything. I'm so burnt out. My phil. paper was shit to the nth power. This isn't procrastination, this is pure inability. Its not laziness because I want to do my work, I just have mental constipation, a monkey wrench in my gears, an acute case of old age (that based on my now awful memory and willingness to do nothing but lie around and wait for time to kill me).
I'm going to read the news and then hit the hay.
I wish I had a good book to read. I know a few I want to, but I don't have them. I miss reading.
