So, Niki sent me a link to the Strokes new "Reptilia" video that is supposed to have close-ups and everything. I was all excited and everything when I clicked the link. I get there, the "media player" launches a fancy frame and a black square. Nothing. So I spent 15 minutes trying to find the FAQ (tiny letters at the bottom of the page) hoping to find some answers. Of course they didn't have my question which is extremely basic: WHAT THE HELL DO I NEED TO DO TO MAKE THE VIDEO SHOW UP?!?!? They just have "how do I download an mp3" with the BRILLIANT advice - "you click on it." I still don't know what is wrong. I think it might be trying to use windows media player or real player, but doesn't tell me WHAT I need to have. I used to have both until Real started putting spyware in there stuff and Windows I think deleted itself. I went to reinstall the WMP again but it won't let me because I'm on my account and there "isn't sufficient space" because the fucking Windows Microsoft nerds have idiot-proofed their stuff to install on the default disk - i.e. my C drive which OF COURSE HAS NO SPACE. There is no place to reroute this to G or anything, I'm just stuck because the world is full of morons.
I'm so pissed off and/or annoyed.
In case you are wondering why I'm up before 2 PM, we tried to work on the paper but since Ms. Babs didn't give us the key.. Ms. Fritsch didn't have one to the back of the school. We were SOL. Now I'm home, its before 10. I ate one of the donuts I brought for working so I'm wired and dwelling on the frustration that is bureaucratic retardation. That almost rhymes. Ughhh.... this is where I say "Fuck I need a drink" before I realize: a) Its the frikkin' morning, b) I hate the taste of alcohol, oh yeah.. and c) I'm a minor. Dude, I can't even salvage myself in drunken stupor.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SARAH WAKES UP EARLY ON THE WEEKENDS.
Damn.. I really wanted to watch that music video.
