No Spoilers, PROMISE!

All I will say is - Jude Law is the sex.

I thought his jaw bone was weird from photo shoot pictures, but oh sweet merciless adolescent hormone imbalances.

He is too beautiful. He brought tears to my eyes. Even if the war part is icky, you have a harsh notion against Nicole Kidman, or you really feel like going to see some other popular flick. Go to oogle the man! OOGLE!

What the heck is wrong with me. My writing from only a few weeks ago is as sterile and sexless as an amoeba. Someone help me... this is getting out of hand.

"Get thee to a nunnery!."

Christmas was interesting. I knew pretty much everything I was getting for the exception of some "Wonder Woman" stuff - a new calender, woo! By the way.. I love Target. If you don't, you don't go there enough. I found a $50 - 5 CD CHANGER STEREO. My "Swell" slippers are oh-so-comfy and I found lots more amazing Christmas bounty for cheap without the guilt of corporate evil, sexism, label shredding that comes with Walmart.

Yes we all know Walmart is evil but here are a few of my latest findings on the companies malfeasance! A class action suit is in progress from women employees; apparently, Walmart has an extreme problem paying women equally as much as men for the same jobs as well as giving raises & promotions. One woman manager cited an experience where she tried reccomending a woman cashier for a raise because she was doing so much hard work, the raise was instead given to a man doing less because "he had a family to support." The cashier was a single mother. Also, Walmart's constant pressure on suppliers to offer lower priced goods so Walmart can relay them to the customer has hurt several companies. Sure, it seems like the suppliers should say "fuck off, we don't need to satisfy you." That is kind of a problem though if Walmart is 30% of your account. The only way to try and avoid certain death is by satisfying them! Vlasic pickles was forced to sell one gallon jars of pickles for $2.49 (or something close to that) - cheaper than they sold less pickles at typical grocery stores. There was constant demand because of the huge savings even though NO ONE can use the entire gallon before they spoil. It was waste, sheer waste. Vlasic begged for a price hike when they started to go under, or permission to sell smaller amounts. Walmart refused. Finally consumers lost interest in the pickles and they got a tiny price hike. Too late, Vlasic is now a bankrupted company. Levi Strauss is in trouble too. A well respected company around for at least a century. The name cache is one that brings to mind a certain quality - Levi jeans were invented as work jeans, made to last. Walmart brought Levi to the world of cheap retail. People went crazy for the brand name. Levi closed all of its American manufacturing plants and moved labor to sweatshops instead. I'm not going to yell about this fact - it would have been a matter of time anyway. Globalzation is a smart business move as the American economy goes from industrial to largely service. (Even though sweatshop conditions are deplorable and completely unacceptable examples of greed - they do help poorer countries economies. If you don't believe me, go read about China's economy in the last few years. Don't cry about America losing industry either, just face it.. its going away with or without cheap labor.) The fabric is now cheaper, and they no longer offer the high quality jeans they are famous for.)

Mass was.. interesting. I saw someone from my past.

The second year I played softball, I was in love with the game. My dad was thrilled. He hoped to keep me interested through the summer by getting me on a summer team. However, they only had baseball - typically only for guys in my school district. Whatever, I was fresh out of the 3rd grade. No shame at all, I could throw and hit the ball well. The coach, however, wasn't too happy. He made a huge fuss about a "girl" and after my dad's debate he let me "practice" with the team. He threw some pitches - one hit me (oops! accident!) and then I smacked the next one into outfield past his precious boys, very much to his chagrin. He then started fielding practice; he tapped some gentle ones to the boys and then all the sudden ::CRACK:: he smacked a ball right for me and it smashed my shins. I started crying and he starting going on about "wah wah.. girls.. see?" We left. I didn't want to play after getting hurt so much. I didn't really understand male chauvinism then, I just thought baseball was a rougher game. Anyway, he was at the mass. If it hadn't been Christmas or for the fact that I didn't have a baseball bat - I didn't break his shins in.

The cuts are a gift so I don't wreck your holiday cheer with a tradition in my family - holiday bitterness. ^_^ Merry Christmas everyone or Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Winter Solstice(to all you funky pagans out there).
