GIRLS GONE WILD - Veritas Edition

We went to see LOTR. IT WAS AWESOME. Orlando Bloom has the most awesome scene but he doesn't have much of a speaking part. Oh well, whatever, we all know Legolas's main job is to just prance around looking hot. So after the movie, we thought it would be fun to go shake up the town and get some dessert! Well.. that turned into food which turned into a quest to the Cheesecake Factory which we thought was a midnight place.
We drove from AMC 30 to the Galleria and started looking for parking. Unfortunately, none of us frequent the Galleria so we ended up parking by Lord & Taylor at like... 11:30. So we were joking around about how we'd probably get attacked by a mad rapist when security woman in an SUV offered us a ride all the way there because she was bored. We hopped in and she dropped us off only so we could find out that it closed at 11! So we kind of walked around a little bit, we tried to go to Bennigans which claimed it was open until 12 but no one came to the counter because I don't think they wanted to seat us so they could open the kitchen, etc. etc.. fuck Bennigans. It's a crappy lowbrow place anyway, the dude at the bar had a mullet. So anyway, Niki's friend that we met there was parked close so she drove us back to the car. We resolved to go to the one and only IHOP. So at midnight, we were eating pancakes and sundaes. It was soo fun. The lady asked us like, 3 times, if we wanted to be in the smoking section because after the first time she asked, Niki & I started to Strokes-gush and plot on how best to become groupies.
After our din..break..meal we went back to Niki's house. We watched Conan with Elijah Wood and the recorded episode of the OC that we missed while galavanting about the town. I also got to read all the magazines with Strokes articles that Niki owned. I ended up spending the night at Niki's house and we woke up at 11 and watched American Graffiti (RONNIE!!!). Ok, so none of this was wild, crazy, or anywhere close to letting loose - I mean, we didn't go drinking and smoking on a quest to pick up men or anything. That isn't our style. Haha.
Oh, Niki gave me the MOST awesome gift. Its a Strokes poster where they all just secrete vintage sexiness. I can't wait to hang it.
