WOW.. let me recap this weekend:
-----
FRIDAY:
I thought the day would never end. Stupid Strake got out at noon-ish and everytime their classbell rang it was like another nail in my coffin. I had an utterly useless class day, I made an ass out of myself in drawing.. sort of and I'm basically bracing for what will surely be the hardest metaphorical crash into a brick wall that I will ever suffer. The next few weeks bring up: a Hamlet essay, a Economics essay (on Amazon.com), a take home Philosophy test(2 essays), an in-class Phil. test, putting out the actual newspaper, and several assorted tests. Meanwhile, I should actually START applying to colleges. Oh, did I mention I thought I could squeeze in an SAT prep book before my last chance to take it. Oh, lovely.. I just remembered that I forgot to register for the ACT, uck.. screw that. Oh, and I haven't asked Fritsch to write my college recc., she has been looking so down lately.. its been a tad intimidating. But back to Friday..
Eventually school got out and time for SARAH AND NIKI'S DAY O' oMiGaWd FUN!! (haha.. tweenie speak.. so unintelligible). We went off to go see the final chapter in the Matrix. Ugh.. it was just awful. God awful. However, Niki did the MOST hilarious impression of Neo/Agent Smith. You had to be there. I feel so incredibly privledged to have witnessed it, it was possibly the greatest Niki moment of all time (at least in the top 3). The hand motions, the tone, the passion.. she deserved an Oscar, it was a "thank-god-I-went-to-the-bathroom-earlier-because-I-would-be-peeing-my-pants" funny moment. She tried recreating the moment for her mom but it just wasn't as funny. It would have been the highlight of the evening but the night hadn't even begun! We got back to her house and she made me a grilled cheese (don't you just love her?1? ^_^), so we munched on those and the Pringles Mary had earlier tried to klepto. Her college friend showed up and took us to the concert.
It was so exciting. I swear I had butterflies. We got in without having to go through the security check, the dude just waved us in, so that was cool. We bought our shirts and everything. (I got a sweater and a shirt! The sweater is way to big though.. I feel like a punk when I wear it x_X;;). Ok so we are standing in line and all the sudden.. I yelled "OH MY GOD!!!!!" Everyone around me just stared. What was the spectacle that caused this outbreak, I clarified the details with the next line "HOLY FUCK IT'S MISS SUDICK.. ::mumble::suckdick::mumble::!!!" There she was, and get a load of this, making a mockery of Catholic school girls everywhere. She had a VERY short (shorter than usual) black pleated skirt, white collared 3/4 sleeve shirt (BEARING SERIOUS MIDRIFF), and knee high plastic-y black boots. She looked like such a slut. I wish I had a camera so I could anonymously submit it to the school. She was with some balding dude. She recognized Niki (for some reason) and waved (for some reason - not hiding her attire in the slightest). Yuck. We got our Strokes apparel and squeezed out of the crowd. So we got in the theater (smaller than I expected - Verizon Wireless btw) and we were standing around. I saw Mabel, exchanged waves, etc etc..blah blah.. I'm shoving in too many details. Anyway, the opening band wasn't that awesome.. they were.. ok. I did not like being pre-deafened before the actual band came out. We were in there like.. 2 hours before the Strokes came out. But it was soooooo awesome when they did. IT WAS SO COOL. The speakers were so loud, you could feel the music vibrating in your chest. They played all my favorite songs. All of the band members are sooooooo cute (except for Nikolai.. he is a tad weird looking o_O;;). The only small (itty-bitty) letdowns were: Julian was heavy on the f-word, a little too spirited for the opening act and this weird whiny woman they brought tosingwhine along to a song, and they are all chain smokers. Highlights included: Julian randomly slapping Albert's ass in the middle of a song, after taking a sip of one of the red cups on stage "Ugh! That tasted like shit.. that wasn't my drink", and Julian climbing into the audience. It was really, really cool. REALLY REALLY. The Strokes were so great. I was so happy that they sounded exactly like they do on recording, I was so relieved that they aren't really manufactured sound. So often bands go up on Letterman or SNL and it is like.. wtf, that sounded nothing like the CD, and you just know the music is overly manufactured. It was like a stab in the heart watching Jimmy Kimmel (first & LAST time) and hearing Chris Martin of Coldplay miss a high note. I've gotten over it, he actually apologized for it later, I will assume it a fluke. Annnnyway. It was awesome and Niki & I had sooooo much fun at our first concert.

SATURDAY:
I watched the entire 4th season of the Soprano's on DVD. For some reason, the 7th episode wasn't in there. It was the most random thing. It was good but I'm disappointed that it will be another year before I can see another new episode.
-----
SUNDAY:
My sister had her birthday party today. My dad payed me to go with my mom. I've been sick all day, fending off cramps by popping Advil. I don't know if I'm going to school tomorrow. I'm so tired. My hugest fear is that I will get mono and be out of school for weeks, that would screw me up soooo bad. Yuck. I have so much to do. I need to go stare at my Econ book, I have a quiz tomorrow if I go.
-----
Anyway. I had a very awesome weekend, I think it will be my last enjoyable weekend for the next 2 months. I still cannot find my agenda book. Crap-tastic!
