I had a pretty good birthday! Almost all my friends some how called and chatted with me and that was super nice of everyone. Thank you.

We went to Guadalajara and I got to eat enchiladas & wear their birthday sombrero. They aren't allowed to sing to you, thank god, but I got to wear the hat, so I was happy.

I was checking my e-mail and two messages led to intriguing investigations.. or something like that.

U. of Chicago wanted me to give them more information or something; blah blah. So I filled in all the stuff and they stick it in their application for you. This year they have some really great essay topics like: describe a food that has signifigant meaning to you: do you eat it a special way? Think about how it is packaged, prepared, and served, etc. Another is come up with a theory with principles and thought for a few things like: crop circles, gray, mona lisa's smile, non-dairy creamer.

The owner of my fortune cookie mascot fortune cookie sent me an e-mail. I took the old ones down and put up a new fortune cookie that I made. Not as cute.. it freaked me out though. Its so easy to get a bad reputation with all the online personal site people. These people have friends in many places; if they want to, they can sic their friends to flame & spam your inbox, your guestbook, your host.. anybody. They do this when they think someone "stole their art", the most grief comes from the pixel people whose art is usually like 15 pixels x 15 pixels. She was ticked off or mean, she didn't even ask me to take them down - but I did because I promised I would in my credits section should "the actual owner ever surface to claim it." Some site had it in their free graphic section, I should have known better but I was desperate to launch F-C.nu. I always intended to draw my own version of a fortune cookie but I got lazy. So no, I'm not a cyber-klepto just someone too super lazy to sit around trying to draw tiny pixel things. Anyway. It doesn't matter.. she didn't write it in her journal and no flames on my g-book. The main gathering of these clannish pixel people, a particular bbs, actually closed... I couldn't believe it. Annnyway. My site still looks ok and now I don't owe anything to anybody.

Those essay topics for the U of Chicago are actually really awesome. For Western, I had to write the typical "Who has influenced you the most, and why..." blah blah blah.
