transomwhiplassI'm so lucky I know Niki and get to call her a friend.
She is someone who can answer almost all of your academic questions and help you out and then the next second be literally "skipping around" and someone who is part bunny part elf part kid.
She likes everything worth liking, is totally amiable, knows what is important in life, is so focused, & just.. I'm in awe of her.
Smart but not snobby, nice but not fake, concerned but not for her benefit.. she is just so.. great.
Her mom wasn't there when I went to her office so Niki showed me around. We talked about everything in a matter of minutes. I could talk to her for hours without an ackward pause though. We've never argued or fought. She is just this like..... pinnacle statue of goodness and she has saved me more times that I can remember.
So, I don't know how many times I've saluted Niki here but again, cheers to Niki for sticking around and staying friends with such a strange, emotional, needy person who has a knack for getting into lots of scrapes that require good people to help her out all the time. Cheers to Niki, someone I hope to share a front porch and denture stories with someday.
