transomwhiplassGoddddd it is so hot here. Its awful and there isn't air conditioning. I did not think that Oregon could possibly get so hot. Uuughuhghg. ¬_¬;;
"Hair" was pretty good. I couldn't stop humming "Age of Aquarius" for a few days.
Yesterday we went to something called "Da Vinci Days" which is a festival devoted to the sciences and arts. We got to see these big kinetic sculptures - I took pictures which I will upload later - go through the mud portion of the race. We also got to see part of an Indie film festival, battle bot robots (they couldn't fight for safety reasons), and a dog-frisbee competition. It was pretty eventful. Today I think we are going to picnic in the park during a concert - you can't see but you can here. Its really hot and the band is.. old guys. Oldies are fun but I've never heard any of the songs my aunt and uncle mentioned. Annnnnyway.
School stuff is REALLY starting to freak me out. I mean, 3 APs. WHAT AM I THINKING. I am going to die next year, seriously. It will be insane. I need to read 2 books, write a 5 page essay on a prompt I have yet to recieve, I need to take senior pictures, and I need to take at least 1 ACT, a couple SATs, and 3 SAT 2s. Thanks toclever horrendously inconvienient and awful travel arrangements I was only able to take one last year. Ugh how this sucks.
At least I'm getting this service project done. I had to file this morning and it was sooo hot shuffling papers on a desk that was tiny and already clogged. I've now retreated to the office and I need to get going.
Enough for now. I hope everyone in Houston is avoiding the heat.
