For the record: GameCube controllers are the shoddiest contraptions ever created. The control stick gets messed up, even with little use, causing game characters to suddenly change directions, walk very slowly when you aren't even touching the stick, suddenly run in one direction, or just refuse to move one way all together. We have one official Nintendo one and 3 generic ones. They are all busted. They all suck. They make gameplay 1000x harder. I'm NOT kidding. Forget sneaking up on enemies, forget hopping on tiny ledges, forget trying to aim movement. They suck. They have been broken for a long time (we got the gamecube 2 christmas' ago) but I've never been inspired enough to bitch about them. It is shocking for a Nintendo product which usually work after long, hard use. My SNES still works (sometimes the games don't start but a good "Nintendo Blow & Smack" brings it to life) as do my original gameboy and the sturdy games. Our N64 controllers died respectively from old age and rough use - but that is only to be expected. Anyway, but for the record, be wary of those stupid, overpriced controllers.

I can't sleep. I'm trying to fix my sleeping habits but I can't. I go to bed so late and wake up the same way. Its awful. Like, I'm on Australia time or something.

Coldplay's "A Rush of Blood to the Head" is the best CD I've ever purchased. You should go get it. I've had it for months now but I never appreciated how good it is until now. Unlike most horribly compiled rip-offs, 4 of the songs are really good and the rest is... alright. Tracks 1,2,4,5 - "Politik","In My Place","The Scientist", & "Clocks." I love Coldplay. "Parachutes" is ok but I only like maybe 2 of the songs.

Tomorrow is "Everybody Loves Sarah" day. Her 2 yumpop tees, her bookshelf, her string of Pottery Barn lantern lights, & possibly clothers are coming tomorrow. It is not helping her insomnia. T-shirt tracking says it was scanned in Houston at 12:05 - YAY!

I should work on Senior T prototypes. Maybe I should do that.. I think I may get to wound up in it I will be here at the computer for a long time.

Mary - Sorry to hear you are all hosed up. Also sorry to hear your back problems can't be blame on an "Ass Tree" covered in SPAM and my long lost pens (are you sure that wasn't on x-ray??).

This summer isn't as depressing as last. I never saw anyone, I had to work, & I was stuck in the heat for hours on end. I don't feel nearly as lonely (I have siblings around) & I've seen 2 people. Anyway. That is just some happy news.

Maybe I will work on those t-shirts.

Actually, I've never had any bad experience from Gamecube controllers, from me or any of the houses I've been to that have a Gamecube. Personally, I think the PS controllers have that GODDAMN ANNOYING D-pad, and X-box, well, it's like holding a frisbee for a controller. I personally like GC's, although N64 controllers would break within a year. I'd finish Wind Waker if I wasn't so lazy.

"Clocks" and "In My Place" are awesome songs.

OH! OH! Guess who STILL hasn't finalized their senior project!

No problems, really? Maybe its because my siblings and I get in mad, crazy fist fight fueds and try to strangle eachother with the cords... actually, that has never happened, but maybe we are too rough with them. I think it has too many buttons sometimes. PS2 controllers are nice, I think and year X-box controllers are weird.

We need to finish Wind Waker too, its on rental. My brother got bored of it in the Wind Temple. The controller has played into that.

I only recently got the details in order for my project but it has taking a freak spin. Now I have to go camp in the woods for 4 days at the beginning of it and the entire time I will have to hang around with middle aged hippies. I should have done a camp or something, gosh do I feel dumb.
