T-Shirts

I finally came up with an idea for senior t-shirts.

Of course, it is in no way the final decision, at all. We WILL be holding a SERIES (at least 2, lol) meetings on the matter. Where we can ALL submit ideas. That way, we can vote and come up with a mutually satisfying souvenier for senior year and a treat or embarressment for our fish to wear. FUN!

Anyway. I have actually photoshopped my vision. The problem is, I can't decide on a certain detail. For my samples, I just chose one combo. I think it would be really funny to make "Quidditch T-Shirts," Niki & I think it is hilarious - but we are also the ones who really like Harry Potter, I don't know about others. So, I thought it would be nifty for the fish to be in one house and for us to be in another. Spoofs of "Hufflepuff" and "Gryffindor" sounded better than those with "Ravenclaw" and "Slytherin," (one just sounds bad and the other has negative connotation).

So here is my dilemma:

Gryffsenior & Freshmanpuff (Looks better, plus we get to be noble and brave and they get to be loyal and kind)

or

Seniorpuff & Freshmandor (Sounds better, but doesn't look very HP-ish)

For the samples I chose the above combo, but was left with yet ANOTHER dilemma. Seniors would, of course be yellow writing on red shirt, but fish..: yellow on black, or black on yellow. I made both.

d0rk. I know. lol. Here are the previews (by the way, I used my name and a made up one - it was just easier that way; the numbers are graduation years; the position I just picked randomly out of seeker, beater, chaser, & keeper):

I really think if you want a more general appeal to the senior class with a HP sort of theme, you should just use Slytherin and and Gryffindor. They're more well-known, and more people will catch on to the spoof. =)

I see what you are getting at, but I think I failed to mention something. Actually, the t-shirts are just for the people in our group. Every year, seniors (w/ their friends) make a t-shirt for themselves and their fish. There isn't an official contest, but its sort of a competition for being an unspoken legend.

That is why I was aiming smaller than broader, but you do make a very good point. I know guys would probably rather die than touch one of these but its sort of funny how, incidently, Hufflepuff house's colors are black & gold (SAA's colors) & Slytherins are green & silver/white (Strakes). Anyway. Thank you for your insight!

Actually, I distinctly remember watching the first HP movie, and at the official Quidditch match where everyone is floating around..

Red and yellow..
Green and white..
