Take my word for it: NHS sucks. It just means that they scrutinize you 10 times as badly as before. Like, normally, if you went around with your shirt untucked, Ms. Baker would probably say, "Your shirt is untucked! That's a Saturday detention warning!", but, if you were in NHS and you did the same thing, she'd be all like, "You're setting a bad example for your peers, blah, blah, blah..." Teachers are a lot harder on you, and there's always this little nagging fear that you're gonna get kicked out, either because a) your grades get too low, b) some teacher thinks that you're not behaving "appropriately", or c) no matter what they say, it's impossible to do all of those god forsaken service hours.

So, don't worry about not getting in. ;) You're a smart girl- use your time and intelligence for something far more practical than stupid NHS. ;)

The thought of joining NHS never crossed my mind, personally. ;) Too much effort, and you become a Ms. Baker lackey anyway.

true true.. but remember.. Ms. Baker is leaving.. let us say a prayer that our new dean is SUPER nice.. ^_^... lol.. yeah.. but I don't care the scrutiny.. my personality is just to worry about everything.. I mean.. even if I know we have free dress or I know I have an open lab.. I keep a uniform in my locker and I always run past the room just to make sure.. o.O.. i think I am just strange.. I've never got a detention/warning.. ever.. in my lifetime.. I am the ULTIMATE goody goody.. hehehe.. i understand though.. grade-wise... thats rough..
