::drip... drip... drip...:: "no mom, its not the faucet.. its my sinuses"

these last few days have been hell.. I have had flaring allergies (I never have before).. its not a cold because I don't feel achy.. but I have taken every de-congestant our house has.. and now I am on my first prescription (no.. I have had antibiotics and painkillers.. but the first like.. daily, probably permanent medicine.. i feel so old).. I am on allegra.. the doctor never saw me .. oh well... uhm.. let me see.. I got books to-day.. I got the Kaplan SAT book.. it came with a discount coupon for a classroom/or/internet course.. its ok.. I narrowed my choices (on SAT books) down to 2.. from 8.. blargh!.. I liked the other one... a lot.. but .. well my dad said I could get it later if I wanted.. I finished "Naked" the book Emma lent to me.. it was a lot like "Me Talk Pretty One Day" except it was more about his family.. I liked it.. it had some very crude humor (ass-wiping on towels) where I died laughing and countless swearing.. I love David Sedaris.. he is such a fantastic writer.. uhm.. let me see.. she loaned me another book.. longer.. lol.. it will probably take me longer.. but not by much.. I dont have anythign to do but read.. so I am going to take my books around with me so I can read.. I think I will read a lot this summer.. I would average like.. 3-5 books a week.. but I dont have that many.. oh well.. I guess I will peel books off the shelves.. I saw so much good stuff at barnes and noble.. but well.. its silly to pay $7 for a day's worth of enjoyment.. yes I understand the concept of a "library".. but the ones near me dont understand the concepts of "new releases" and "published 2000+" ... so anyway.. I will make due.. my dad has plenty of books.. I guess I could read his several dozen chess books... wouldnt that be a kick.. or perfect my knowledge on the oil industry or sailing.. but.. haha.. anyway.. those who didnt.. NEED to look at my new layout thing.. please humor me.. it will take you seconds.. VW v.7 blue table-icious there is the link.. now you spend that 1/4 of a calorie and click!.. then you use the other 3/4 to move your eyes and look.. its that simple..^_^.. lalala... now I have to steal a book from nora.. she is trying to read "princess in the spotlight" (part of the princess diaries series) which I remarked would be "too difficult" for an 8 year old.. but apparently it might be too mature as the first chapter seems to discuss the mothers pregnancy ala unprotected sex.... soooo I will be sneaky.. if my sniffling doesn't give me away..
